Let us take you on a tour of Spain's highest mountain villages and discover the traditional lifestyles of La Alpujarra on this day trip from Salobreña, Granada Province.
Discover Lanjaron (famous for its medicinal springs), Pampaneira, Capileira, Bubion (traditional Mozarabic styled villages), Trevelez, the highest village in Spain (famous for it's jamon) and many more, plus enjoy a visit to a folk museum (weekends only) and a local chocolate factory, all rounded off with an authentic “Alpujarreño” lunch!
This day trip will pass through some of the most stunning landscapes in Spain, since La Alpujarra is part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. With its important Moorish cultural heritage, the characteristic landscape is made up of small white villages with earthen, flat-roofed houses (similar to those still being built in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco), and small terraces cut into the mountainside for farming, some of which are almost 2.000 metres above sea level. All of these aspects combine to make a visit to this unique area a must.
For insurance purposes all riders must be over 25 years of age, be in possession of a valid motorcycle licence and have at
least two years recent riding experience (preferably on twisty mountain roads).
All the motos are regularly serviced, maintained, tested and inspected.
